Tunza Mama is a Kiswahili phrase that means “to care for moms”. Tunza Mama is a health social enterprise network, implemented in Kenya, geared at giving back to midwives while improving the health of mother(s) and their child(ren.) We empower, support and increase women’s access to information all through pregnancy, labor and delivery and exclusive breastfeeding and Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) practices as a whole.
Tunza Mama provides an opportunity for women to access essential maternal and child health services and rediscover pregnancy, birth and motherhood as an intuitive, natural and empowering journey
